live, eat, celebrate
Hello and Welcome!
27 years of being a mum, 20 years of being a wife, 10 years of running a catering business and over 50 years in the game of life I have once again decided to reinvent myself. Peach & Pear with Gabi is a page dedicated to celebrating life. I have a love of food, so wish to share with you some wonderful recipes and hosting ideas and also bring to you beautiful images of weddings, accommodation, food, art, nature, travel and everything graceful in this planet of ours.
I hope not only to promote and support local Whitsunday and Mackay businesses but Australia wide and even worldwide ones that may pique my interest. If you have any ideas that you may think I may be able to pursue, please let me know in comments below. Also, please tag me on any of your posts that you would like me to share with the world and hashtag #peachpearwithgabi
Look out for our revamped Peach Emporium offering items for purchase coming again soon.
Aside from all of the above, our boutique accommodation in the beautiful Engella region will be opening in 2024. Step away from your super busy lives and take a really deep breath of fresh farm air, cater yourself or let us do it for you and sink into the sounds of birds, cattle and rainforest breezes. A digital detox- a chance to properly switch off. Ideal for group retreats and nature lovers. Follow us on Instagram here.
With Love,
Gabi xx

Dishevelled steak sanga with salsa verde
I wanted to come up with a steak sandwich which is still full of flavour but is that tiniest bit healthier just by reducing the bread intake. I came up with sourdough instead. I like to use…
Motivate your New Year!
